Dear Students and Friends…
Can you believe summer is almost over !! Where does
the time go?
Classes start September 8th. For your
convenience I have attached the new class schedule so you can look for
your favorite classes and plan your Fall schedule. We have some
exciting new changes in both Clay and Metals. Classes are filling up
fast! Look for the new teachers and their information in Clay and also
in Metals Fabrication and Wax Carving & Casting. We are excited to
welcome back Jan Alexander to Wednesday evening for the Wax
Carving & Casting class. In addition, we have added a new category with
two new workshops in September for Basket Weaving that we hope will be
of interest…please look for the posters in the hallways of the Guild to
see examples of Jan Schmidt’s work. These baskets look like a lot of fun
to make and use! Also, in December Ms. Marble will be back for all of
you paper marbling fans, and, we have Master Workshops ongoing in Clay,
Metals and Glass from September through January 2009! Let’s all take
advantage of these opportunities to learn and improve our respective
craft. I look forward to seeing everyone in a couple of weeks !!
Please feel free to forward this to your friends and family…
